Foam Carving and Food

Fake Food and Foam carving from the past few years.   Much of the food is foam carved, leading to these sections being combined.

These are bloody Mary's, martinis, and red wine for The Marriage of Figaro at The Juilliard School in 2024.  These are made out of gel candle wax.  As the process continued, 

Here's a closer look at the bloody mary's.  The bloody marys and the red wine glasses had the wax just swirled in as opposed to a thick heavy layer of wax.

These rolls were made out of bead foam for a show at The Great River Shakespeare Festival in 2022.  They were then covered in a coating of plaster and wood glue and a small amount of pigment.  They were then painted and finally covered in a layer of amber shellac to make them look buttery.

This is baked mac and cheese for a production of Fairview at Eastern Illinois University in 2022.

This is a foam mushroom man made in 2021 inspired by an artist named fairydewdropart.  It was made for a props class at Eastern Illinois University.

Cherrobs for Juliet's grave at Utah Shakespeare Festival in 2024.

The Foam carved and coated angels before clay was added.
